This stunning 1936 Cadillac Series 70 Fleetwood Convertible Coupe was purchased new by James S. Copley, who was Chairman of the corporation publishing Copley News Papers in California and Illinois and Chairman of the board of Copley News Service, publisher of The San Diego Union and Evening Tribune. This Cadillac Convertible Coupe remained in the Copley family until 2013, before joining another Southern California car collection. The car received a Complete Restoration (2007-2010)- where it was restored in its original color combination per the factory build sheet. Optional equipment on this example includes dual sidemount spares, a Deluxe radio and a heater-making it a well-equipped all-weather vehicle. It is believed that less than 200 of this model were produced and this is most likely the finest example in any collection. Having been in one family for 77 years this is sure to be a great addition for any collector.
