  • Concours Quality Restoration
  • AACA National First Winner – Senior
  • Beautiful Art Deco Design

This LaSalle Convertible Coupe is one of just 452 Series 52 “Special” Convertible Coupes produced with the attractive new GM “ torpedo” body. It has been given a no-expense-spared restoration resulting in an AACA award-winning show car. The Series 52, introduced in 1940, featured clean lines, integrated headlights, Art Deco cues, and no running boards. It is finished in Homer Gray Iridescent with a Red leather interior. This car comes with a heater, tools, and a vacuum-operated power top. Power is from a 322 cubic-inch L-head V8 engine fitted with a 2-barrel Carter carburetor and offering 130 horsepower. There is a three-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.

This is the finest example we have seen and it is ready for the next owner to show or drive on tours.
