The XK 140 MC was the top-of-the-line offering from Jaguar, incorporation the improved C-Type cylinder heads and the luxury package that included wire wheels, dual exhausts, a crankshaft damper, fog lamps, windshield washers and dressed up trunk fittings. This XK 140MC has been fitted with the rare sandcast H8 carburetors, which were also used on the C-Types for added performance. The additional power of the MC engine, coupled with the larger racing type carburetors, and the five-speed gearbox that was fitted during the restoration makes this a fine example of a high-speed touring car.
